ZARIBEE Joins the Impact Startup Association (ISA) as a Full Member

ZARIBEE Inc. (“ZARIBEE”), a Japan-founded startup operating in Kenya, is pleased to announce that it has been approved as a Full Member of the Impact Startup Association (ISA), a leading organization dedicated to building an ecosystem for startups that address social challenges while pursuing sustainable growth.
The Impact Startup Association was established in October 2022 to promote collaboration among startups, policymakers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders committed to generating positive social impact. With the latest admissions, ISA now comprises 325 full member companies, including 81 newly approved members for the 2026 membership year.
ZARIBEE operates a motorcycle-based ownership-transfer lease model in Kenya, providing commercial riders with access to productive assets that enable stable income generation. To date, the company has delivered more than 5,000 motorcycles, supporting livelihoods for riders and their families while building a sustainable business model grounded in daily repayment operations.
Through its on-the-ground operations, ZARIBEE has accumulated extensive operational, financial, and behavioral data, which it leverages to design credit structures and explore future credit-scoring mechanisms tailored to emerging-market contexts. By combining real-world implementation with long-term financial sustainability, ZARIBEE aims to contribute to the development of trust- and credit-based infrastructure in regions where access to formal finance remains limited.
By joining ISA as a full member, ZARIBEE seeks to deepen collaboration with fellow impact startups, policymakers, and ecosystem partners, sharing practical insights from field operations while contributing to the advancement of impact-driven business models both in Japan and globally.
ZARIBEE remains committed to creating positive social impact through scalable and sustainable business, and will continue working toward expanding economic opportunity and strengthening credit infrastructure in emerging markets.

株式会社ZARIBEE（本社：日本、事業拠点：ケニア、代表：盛田連司）は、このたび一般社団法人インパクトスタートアップ協会（Impact Startup Association、以下ISA）の正会員として加盟したことをお知らせします。
ISAは、「社会課題の解決」と「持続可能な成長」を両立するインパクトスタートアップのエコシステム構築を目的として2022年に設立され、現在は325社の正会員が参画する国内有数のプラットフォームです。今回の正会員承認では、新たに81社が加盟しています。
ZARIBEEは、日本発のスタートアップとしてケニアにおいて二輪車向けの所有権移転型リース事業を展開し、これまでに累計5,000台以上のバイクを提供してきました。安定した移動手段と就労機会を提供することで、現地のライダーとその家族の生活基盤を支えると同時に、継続的な支払いデータや行動データを基にした信用構築の仕組みづくりに取り組んでいます。
今回のISA正会員加盟を通じて、ZARIBEEは国内外のインパクトスタートアップや政策・金融関係者との連携を一層深め、現場起点の実装知見を共有しながら、社会課題解決と事業成長を両立するモデルの発展に貢献していきます。
今後もZARIBEEは、「信用」を軸とした持続可能なインフラの構築を通じて、新興国における経済的機会の拡張と社会へのポジティブなインパクト創出を目指してまいります。
